Etrop Grange Hotel

We were attending a wedding hosted at the hotel, with several family members staying, so we all had a peek in each others rooms. They were all lovely rooms, of all shapes and sizes. One or two rooms had the odd problem here and there, requiring only minor maintenance to make it perfect, but nothing you couldn't cope with. This is a large stately home type of hotel, with a rabbit warren of corridors and stairs. I thought I would get lost, but I didn't. I liked it. The staff looking after the wedding party were all amazing, and I told them so. Our breakfast was also very good. Whether toast, cereal or full english. It was hot, fresh and cooked to perfection, with attentive polite staff serving. Tea was good, and my coffee was lovely. This hotel, although a little tired here and there, have amazing staff and overall is very good.

The room I had was lovely. Very nice touches, beautiful bathroom, Nespresso machine. Shame the decorating was very dated and in need of attention. I ate dinner in the restaurant and the meal was stunning. All the staff were lovely, friendly. Great location and didn't hear a plane at all even though the hotel is right on the doorstep of the airport. I would happily go back.

Brilliant for stopping over if your at the airport early in the morning as they offer a short shuttle ride to your terminal at no extra charge. Never had breakfast there because of early flights. Rooms are a good size and the bed we stayed in was mega comfy.

Room was nice, spacious and clean. We checked in quite late but the lady at reception was super nice and professional. Only negative I can say is the taps in the sink in the bathroom is the old fashioned style where it's one faucet for cold and the other for hot water. Free parking and WiFi in the room were both handy.

The club suites are great. Comfy, clean and relaxing. The only issue was the walls are a bit thin. Got woken up by a family talking normally and going to the loo at about 4 in the morning. Location is fantastic. Just 3 minutes to the airport. Brilliant for business users and holiday makers alike.

This is a delightful and deceptively spacious hotel in a location on Manchester Airport's doorstep. The room was good value for money and was cosy with all facilities. The bar was lovely and drinks were reasonably priced. We also ate dinner here and the food was great! The taxi/shuttle arrived early and was able to drop us in minutes at the terminal. I would highly recommend this hotel!
